Girls Prep of the Week: Kacy Smith, Estero cross country

During the long bus ride to Titusville, the Estero girls cross country team kept their focus on winning their second consecutive title at the FLrunners.com Invitational Race of Champions.

Thanks, in large part, to the performance of senior Kacy Smith, the Wildcats we are able to accomplish just that at Chain of Lakes Park.

"The girls really wanted the back-to-back wins," Smith said. "It is definitely a big race with runners from all over the state and even a few from Georgia."
